The minimum driver age varies by vehicle group and model. Some vehicle groups accept drivers aged 21 and over, while newer and higher-segment vehicles may require a higher minimum age. The driver must hold a valid driving licence held for at least 3 years.
A security deposit may be requested depending on the vehicle group, rental duration and driver details. A credit card isn't required for the deposit; it can usually also be taken in cash. The amount is set at booking and handover. The rental fee is collected at vehicle handover. You can pay in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer.
Rental fees are calculated on a daily basis. Even if the car is used for a few hours and returned the same day, the full daily rate still applies. The standard daily mileage limit is 300 km. A charge of 10 TL per km applies above the limit.
The car should be returned at roughly the same fuel level it was handed over with. Vehicles aren't always handed over with a full tank; the fuel level recorded at handover is used as the baseline.
Our vehicles are delivered with mandatory traffic insurance and collision cover subject to an excess, as set out in the rental terms. In the event of damage, the renter's financial liability may depend on the degree of fault, the nature of the damage and the insurance terms. In the event of an accident or damage, first take any necessary safety measures and contact Traffix Rent a Car as soon as possible. In emergencies, dealing with the relevant official authorities comes first. Our team will guide you through the required report and procedure.
The car may only be driven by the driver(s) named in the rental agreement. You can request an additional driver in the booking notes. The additional driver must also meet the required driver conditions and be added to the agreement. Details are confirmed after booking.
Booking changes and cancellation requests are handled as flexibly as possible. Cancellation terms can vary depending on how much time remains before the booking, the rental period and vehicle availability. Cancellations notified early are offered the most suitable solution we can manage.
Any toll road charges (HGS), traffic fines and related usage fees incurred during the rental are the renter's responsibility. Fees or fines that reach our company after the rental and match the rental period may be reported to the customer with documentation and collected.
Fees for the pick-up and drop-off points defined in the booking system are calculated automatically when you book. For hotels, addresses or special delivery points not on the list, the fee is confirmed with the customer after booking.
Smoking isn't allowed in our vehicles. A cleaning or damage fee may apply for dirt beyond normal use, smoke/odour removal, missing equipment, or damage to the vehicle's interior trim and equipment.
Rental vehicles aren't permitted to leave Turkey's borders.
