What Decides the Price of Car Hire in Marmaris?
Two rent a car quotes in the same town often differ not because of the car but because of the conditions behind the quote. Car hire and car rental prices in Marmaris come down to five things:

How the Daily Rate Falls on a Longer Rental
At Traffix the price is not a fixed rate multiplied by the number of days: each length of rental has its own total. That is why the daily average drops as the rental grows. The first three days are the short-rental price, the discount begins on day four, and a longer rental never costs less than a shorter one.
A weekly car rental or a monthly car rental is therefore clearly better value than adding up single days; the daily averages under the 7-day and 30-day columns show it. On rentals longer than 30 days every extra day is added at the 30-day daily average, so the price does not fall any further, but it does not rise either.
Delivery Fees: What Does Each Point Cost?
We bring the car to your hotel, the port, the bus station or the airport, every day between 08:00 and 00:00. The table below groups every point by its fee. The fee of the points you choose is added to the total automatically while you book.

If you collect and return at the same point, the location fee is paid once. If you want to return the car somewhere else, two separate fees are added; on the booking form you choose the two points separately. What Is Included in the Price and What Is Not?
To compare quotes properly you have to separate what is inside the price from what you pay on top. At Traffix it works like this:
- Included: compulsory traffic insurance and kasko with an excess. Cover and excess are subject to the policy and the rental agreement and are explained at delivery; extra cover packages are available on request.
- Included: 300 km of use per day.
- Included: delivery and return in Marmaris centre, the bus station, the port, hotels, İçmeler and the marinas (the free points in the delivery table).
- Paid on top: an extra charge per kilometre beyond 300 km (it is stated on the Rental Terms page).
- Paid on top: fuel. The car is returned at about the fuel level recorded at delivery; a full tank is not always required.
- Paid on top: HGS and toll crossings during the rental, and traffic fines, are the renter's responsibility.
- Paid on top: the delivery fee for points such as nearby villages, Datça, Fethiye and the airports.
- Security: a credit card is not needed for the deposit; cash is accepted. The amount is set at booking and delivery according to the car and the rental conditions.
The rental fee is collected when the car is handed over; you can pay in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer. Even if you use the car for only a few hours on the same day, one day is charged, because prices are calculated on a daily tariff.
Six Ways to Pay Less for Car Hire in Marmaris
- Plan the days to match what you really need: on a weekly or monthly rental the daily average drops noticeably, and the table shows it plainly.
- Consider a manual gearbox: the manual cars in our fleet are currently cheaper than the automatic ones, and on Marmaris's narrow coastal roads a small car is also easier to park.
- Choose a free point: delivery in Marmaris centre, hotels and İçmeler carries no fee. If you are arriving by air, remember that the airport fee is added to the total together with the rental.
- Return to the same point: if pick-up and drop-off are the same, the location fee is paid once.

How is fuel handled?
The car must be returned at about the fuel level it was delivered with. Cars are not always delivered with a full tank; the level recorded at handover is what counts.
When and how do I pay the rental fee?
The rental fee is collected when the car is handed over. You can pay in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer.
Do I pay anything if I cancel?
Cancellations up to 24 hours before delivery are free; a call, a WhatsApp message or an e-mail is enough. If there are fewer than 24 hours left, please call us.
Which car is the best value to hire in Marmaris?
